Documenting from day one
We're a new business. You shouldn't have to take our word for anything, and we've built the whole operation so you don't have to.
Here's the uncomfortable truth about our industry: almost nobody can show you their work. A contractor tells you they renovated a paddock three years back, and the evidence is a wave toward a hill and a "she came up beautiful". Maybe it did. There's no way to know.
We're starting Oak Ridge with no track record to point at, and we decided early that we'd never fake one. No borrowed photos, no vague claims, no "years of combined experience" arithmetic. Instead, we're doing the one thing that beats a track record over time: documenting everything, from the first job onward.
The system is boringly simple
Before a machine starts on any job, photo markers go in. Fence posts, star pickets, a gate corner. Fixed points we can find again. We shoot the block from each marker on day one, date-stamped, and we shoot the work as it happens: the breaks cut, the rip lines, the drill rows.
Then, and this is the part that matters, we come back when the season has turned and shoot the same frames from the same spots. Not the flattering angle. The same angle.
Same spot, same frame. What grew, grew. What didn't, we'll say so.
What you'll see on this site
Every job becomes a documented entry: the before-state, what we did in plain words, and the season-after result. Estate Care clients get the same discipline as a seasonal report, so you can see your own block's trend line even if you're only up on weekends.
Right now, the Our Work page shows the format with illustrations, clearly labelled as illustrations. As the first paddocks turn over, real photography replaces them. We'd rather show you an honest empty shelf than a full fake one.
An invitation
The first documented transformations start this season. If you've got a block that's got away from you, a paddock on the fire-notice list, or ground you suspect could be doing more, it can be one of the firsts. You'll get the work, and a record of it that no handshake contractor will ever give you.
Tell us about your block. We'll come and have a look.
