Humevale · Whittlesea · Kinglake · Wallan & surroundsCouncil Funding
Your council may pay part of the bill.
Council programs across this district are funding weed control or requiring it in writing. Every one of them wants to see what work you plan to do. That is a quote, and we do those free.
Nillumbik land management incentives
Nillumbik Shire's Land Management Incentive Program part-funds land management works, up to $2,000 a property and more for landscape-scale projects, with weed control among the eligible activities. Arthurs Creek, Strathewen, Hurstbridge, St Andrews: this is yours.
Grant-eligible weed control, paperwork included. We scope the job, quote it in writing, and give you what the application asks for.
Mitchell Shire weed plans
Upper Plenty and Wandong landowners have been asked by Mitchell Shire to put weed management plans in writing. A plan on paper still has to happen in the paddock, and this is the season it is due to.
We execute your weed plan. Bring us the plan, we quote the work to match it, and every job comes back with spray records: chemical, rate, weather, date. Evidence the plan was carried out.
Straight about it: we are the spray contractor, not the council. Eligibility and approval sit with each program, and we cannot promise you the money. What we can promise is a written quote your application can lean on, and the job done properly if it comes through.
If you're on a block
Capeweed taking the paddock, blackberry along the creek, gorse on the back fence, thistles everywhere after rain. You could spend every weekend on a knapsack and still lose ground. We hit it once, properly, with the right chemical at the right rate, and it stays hit.
If you're farming
You know what needs spraying. What you need is a contractor who holds the licence Victoria requires for spray work done for fee, turns up inside the weather window, and hands over records you can file without chasing. That is the job, done that way, every time.
Boom & Spot
What we actually do.
- Boom spraying for paddocks. Broadleaf weeds across improved pasture: capeweed, thistle, and the winter weeds that steal spring feed.
- Spot spraying for outbreaks. Blackberry thickets, gorse, patches too rough or too small for the boom.
- Licensed and accredited. ChemCert / ACUP accreditation and the Commercial Operator Licence Victoria requires for spray work done for fee.
- Spray records, every job. Chemical, rate, weather, date. Yours to keep, handed over without asking.
- Honest advice first. If it is the wrong time of year to spray your weed, we say so and book the right window instead of taking your money twice.
Sprayed on the right day
Spray days aren't guessed. We schedule with CropWindow: Delta T, wind and rain checked before we book you in. Chemical that drifts or washes off is money wasted, yours and ours, so if the day turns wrong we move the job and tell you why.
Boom work is costed by the hectare plus chemical. Spot spraying by the hour.
We quote after we've walked it, and the quote is the price.
Timing is most of the result.
The same chemical on the same weed can work or fail on timing alone.
August to November
Pasture weeds. Capeweed, thistles and winter broadleaf weeds, sprayed while they are small and before they set seed. This is the window for paddock boom work.
January to April
Blackberry and gorse. Woody weeds take chemical down to the roots when they are actively growing after fruiting. Spraying them in spring looks good for a month and fails by autumn.
On the fence line about timing? Send a photo. We will tell you the right month, and if that is not this month, you lose nothing by knowing.
Fair questions.
Stop losing ground to the weeds.
